Visiting a new place can be a great adventure but sometimes all that sightseeing can be quite stressful, especially if you have to deal with large groups and public transport. Here are a few ways to see the sights in style, without all the hassle.
Personal Tours
These are tours for just you and whoever you’re travelling with. Being a small group means you get to have more back and forth with the tour guide. You can learn so much more and these tours tend to go at a much more relaxed pace.
Private Chauffeur
This is the epitome of luxury. A private chauffeur will take you from sight to sight. You can explore a city at your own pace with a comfortable, luxurious ride between each destination.
With your own driver to take you wherever you need to go, this is the ultimate way to travel in style. This works nicely if you want to travel a bit further afield from the place you’re staying.
Helicopter
If you have a longer distance to travel and want to do it without the stress of a cramped plane or busy commuter train, a helicopter is the only way to go. Not only will you get to see some amazing views over the countryside but you’ll be wherever you need to be in no time at all.
Orient Express
Whether you go on a day trip or take the full trip half way around the world, nothing screams luxury like the Orient Express. Don your finest suits and gowns and prepare yourself for wonderful food and one of the most spectacular ways to travel.
On of the joys of the Orient Express is the chance to meet people (but not too many people), who are interesting and share the same appreciation for luxury travel as you do.
By Boat
It might be a tour along the Thames or it might be a dinner cruise around Amsterdam’s beautiful canal network. Whatever you choose, a boat is a fantastically serene way to see the sights of a city.
If the countryside is more your style, why not hire a boat and travel up and down the rivers and canals of the place you want to see. You can moor up wherever you fancy, whether it be for a walk along some country footpaths or to stop for a nice pub lunch.
On Foot at your Own Pace
Travelling under your own steam can be a great way to see and experience a new place. You might want to follow a walking tour (the Trip Advisor app has loads of these), or you might just like to wander until you find somewhere to stop and explore.
Do a little bit of research to try and establish what there is within walking distance. Have a basic plan of where you want to go and take it from there.
