Japan has to offer many places of interest to tourists from all over the world. Being a frequent traveller, it really enticed me to write something on some of the beautiful places in Japan.
People in America and Europe tend to look down upon the places in Asia as they find it too populated and polluted as a tourist attraction. However, the reality is quite different from their perception and Japan is a good example of why Asia is still one of the most beautiful places to pay a visit.

1. Hiroshima Peace Memorial
This specific place is built to pay tribute to all those people who lost their lives when Hiroshima was attacked with atomic bomb back in 1945. It is a historic place as it is the only building that was left after that horrible incident.
2. Jigokudani Monkey Park
Jigokudani Monkey Park is considered as the famous place near Nagano. Jigokudani means “Hell’s Valley”. It was named after its steam and boiling water which bubble up from a crater in the frozen ground which is surrounded by sheer cliffs & cold forests.
It is very famous for its wild Snow Monkeys and trust me you cannot resist yourself to visit the place again and again.
3. Kiyomizu-Dera
It is the Buddhist temple situated in the Eastern Kyoto. According to the sources, it is one of the most famous temples of the world. By visiting this place you may enjoy the distinctive artwork and the shrines. From my own experience, I found it extremely artistic and inspiring as an art.
4. Himeji Castle
This Japanese castle architecture is known for its unique name. Himeji Castle was actually fortified in this place to protect against the enemies. It has been renovated intermittently throughout the past. However, it is considered one of the most splendid tourist attractions in Japan.
5. The Buddha of Kamakura
According to historians, it is a massive outdoor sculptor of Amida Buddha, one of the most famous and celebrated figures of Buddhists. Seeing this giant Buddha can cause a moment of awe. See it to believe it.
6. Tokyo Tower
The Tokyo Tower is an iconic landmark that reflects the blend of technology and modern lifestyle of Japan. The design of the structure has been inspired from the Eiffel tower.
Tokyo Tower is the second tallest tower in Japan which attracts foreigners from all over world. The tower gives a panoramic view of the city and you will freeze every moment of it in your camera.
7. Tokyo National Museum
Tokyo National Museum is considered among the largest art museums of the world the oldest museum of Japan. It is also the oldest museum in Japan, dating back to 1872.
The museum has some of the historic artifacts and archaeological objects, including the remains of World War II. Today, it is visited by thousands of tourists every year.
8. Tokyo Imperial Palace
The official residence of emperor of Japan, The Tokyo Imperial Palace is one of the popular sights in Japan. Every year, thousands of tourists flock to this place to have a view of this historical place.
The site is a place for celebrating national events as well as honoring state guests.
Japan is one of the most historical places in the world. From its ancient history till the modern era, Japan has evolved as one of the most diversified cultures. Visiting Japan is not just about sightseeing but experiencing a culture that transformed from the ruins of World War II into a modern society.
